You said you couldn't help us if we were lazy.

You said the only way to help ourselves were studying harder.

You said we had to pay more attention.

You said we had to complete our homework.

You said don't shy to ask.

You said you would try your best to help us.

When my friend wanted me to ask you for a help, I refused to do so.

Because I knew I am one of your lazy students that you have mentioned.

Didn't do the homework, didn't read the notes, didn't pay much attention(sleepy)
